I.General Overview

The Siem Reap Angkor International Airport Cargo Terminal is located in Ta yek communce, Soutr Nikom District, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. It is one of the core supporting infrastructures of the newly built and opened Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (IATA code: SAI, ICAO code: VDSA).

The cargo terminal officially commenced operations on October 16, 2023, along with the new airport. As a landmark project of the Belt and Road Initiative jointly built by China and Cambodia, the cargo terminal aims to create a modern and efficient air logistics center to meet the growing demand for cargo transportation.

II. Facility Scale and Capacity

The freight station has relatively complete hardware facilities and is capable of handling various types of goods.

Building Area: The cargo warehouse has a building area of over 4,000 square meters.Pallet Configuration: The airport's civil aviation apron has 38 aircraft stands, capable of accommodating the take off, landing, and parking needs of large wide-body passenger aircraft such as the Boeing 777 and Airbus A340, as well as all-cargo aircraft, providing strong support for international long-haul cargo routes.

Main Equipment: Equipped with 15-ton lifting platform trucks, container/flatbed trailers, and other specialized equipment, it can efficiently handle various bulk and containerized cargo.

Operational Capacity: Capable of handling large freighters such as the B777-200F andA330-300.

III. Operation and Service

The cargo terminal is managed and operated by Yunnan Airinvestment (cambodia) Airport Management Co., td. (YACA), which has extensive experience in airport operation and management. Currently, it partners with airlines including Emirates (EK), Singapore Airlines (SQ), China Eastern Airlines (MU), AirAsia (FD, AK, KT), Vietnam Airlines (VN), and IndiGo (6E). The cargo terminal will be committed to providing professional ground handling services.
